Job Responsibilities

· Works closely with Corporate Office, Management and Managers to achieve companies short and long term goals

· Contributes and assists Corporate Office with planning and execution of annual business and marketing plans and assists with new restaurants site selections and new restaurants budget planning

· Accomplishes subsidiary objective by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and making mid-course corrections

· Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff

· Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standard

· Ensure an outstanding dining experience by regulating presentation, taste, service and atmosphere for all guest; develop ways to cultivate a regular customer pool

· Reviews financial reports and assists Restaurant Managers/Assistant Managers in contributing efficiently towards P&L management such as coordinating activities to capture opportunities for increasing profitable sales, revenue generating initiatives, cash and expense control and ensures budgeted GOP’s are achieved or exceeded

· Sets sales and operational goals and expectations with the individual outlets and ensures that those goals and expectations are achieved through regular monitoring and documented performance reviews

· Oversees the performance management of all outlets to achieve the desired results by strongly supporting each business while fostering empowerment

· Conducts regular routine visits to restaurants and ensures each Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager is maintaining and following company standards in regards to policies, procedures, controls, compliance in all areas of customer service, outlet operations and loss prevention. If any deficiencies are found, works closely with management and employees to address the problem/issue and assists them in developing a plan of action to correct problems in a timely and efficient manner

· Oversees inventory, stock control and maintenance to protect company property and assets

· Partners together with Corporate Chef, respective Restaurant Managers/Assistant Managers, Restaurant Chefs and conducts monthly documented Food Safety and Hygiene self- audits

· Ensures that all outlets strictly comply with International Food Safety and Hygiene standards as well as standards set by the Malaysian Food act and as per company policies

· Ensures together with group engineering implementation of effective preventive maintenance program to ensure that all outlets are maintained and equipment functions well to protect owners investments

· Supports safe work habits and promotes safe working environment at all times by implementing a work accident prevention program

· Applies strong analytical skills to asses situations, determine root cause, initiates plan of action if necessary and follows through any issue/problem arising

· Encourages a hands-on working environment, multitasks and quickly prioritizes tasks

· Assists with the recruitment of team members who will move the organization forward

· Assists with performance evaluations for outlet management, assists Restaurant Managers/Assistant Manager with counselling issues at the restaurant area and takes appropriate actions if necessary

· Partners with Human Resources, outlet management and other operations managers to develop and implement effective recruitment plans to accommodate growth and management succession and work force needs in the area

· Supervise a team of employees; work to create a cohesive unit of people who effectively communicate; create a hiring process for key staff that ensures qualified people are selected, trained and retained through top recruiting practices; consider actions of employees in various situations that deem rewarding or disciplinary action

· Develops training programs and coordinates all professional development of restaurant employees together with Human Resources and Restaurants management

· Have a complete understanding to the operational Do’s and Don’ts and Occupational Safety and Health standards


• Two years working experience in the same capacity

• Good communication skills (Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia)

• Good time management skills

• Able to work on shift

• Able to drive revenue

• Pleasant personality

• SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.
