General Information
    • UPal is a specialize in Blue-Collar Recruitment platform. We linked up both Employer and Job Seeker by offering full time, short term and contract jobs towards Job Seekers.
    • For Job Seeker: It is a Totally-Free usage as a Job Seeker.
    • For Employer: Employer will need to buy job posting when posting a new job. You can also purchase the credit package and add-on features at https://www.upal.com.my/en/employer/my_wallet
    • You can find us at main website www.upal.com.my.
    • Please stay tune for the upcoming released for Android & Apple iPhone apps.
    • Employer : Employer register an account -> Purchase & Post Job -> Review candidate’s resume -> Hire -> Rating & Review Jobseeker
    • Jobseeker : Jobseeker Register an account -> Search Job -> Apply job -> Wait for employer to be contacted/interviewed -> rating & review employer

Getting Started

For Job seeker
    • STEP 1
    • Click On JOB SEEKER LOGIN / SIGNUP button
    • STEP 2
    • Click On I'm New Here for New Registration of an Job Seeker Account OR
    • Log In by Facebook or Google+ if you do have an account
    • STEP 3
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under ”Job Seeker Register” page
    • Click On ”Create Account” button while you have filled up all Fields
    • STEP 4
    • You’ll received the Verification Code from us by SMS
    • Enter the Verification Code
    • Click On ”CONTINUE” button
    • STEP 5
    • You are now in the Upal Job Seeker Site

    • STEP 1
    • Click On Job Seeker Login / Signup
    • If you are Employer kindly click on the Employer Login / Signup
    • STEP 2
    • Click On Forgot Password
    • STEP 3
    • Kindly enter your Mobile Number / Email Address
    • Click On Reset Your Password
    • STEP 4
    • Password Reset is done
    • A Password Recovery Email has been sent to your email inbox
    • STEP 5
    • Open the Forgot Password Email from Upal and click on RESET PASSWORD
    • STEP 6
    • Kindly enter your New Password, and Confirm the New Password once again
    • Click on Submit To Reset Password
    • STEP 7
    • Your Password has been successfully reset.

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to Upal Job Seeker Account, and click on the Filter Button
    • You can even search the Job Title or Job Location by using the Search Keyword and Location Bar
    • STEP 2
    • Kindly select your desire Job Title
    • Eg: Barista with No Limit on Salary, and then click DONE
    • STEP 3
    • Your results will be shown in here

    • STEP 1
    • After login as a Job Seeker Account, you will see all job(s) posted by various employer
    • Select your desire job and click Apply Now button
    • STEP 2
    • Before apply the job must fill up all the information in the about me, skills/language, education, work experience(optional), and Upload Profile Photo
    • Scroll down to find out more about the job detail
    • STEP 3
    • Click the Apply Now button
    • STEP 4
    • Tick on the box to confirm your availability of the job.
    • Click the Confirm & Apply Now button

    • You will be contacted & invitedto interview via several methods:
      • Employer Call-to-Job Seeker directly
      • UPal Messages functions
      • Video Interview
    • You do not need to pay to get contacted by Employer(s), in fact, we do not charge any cent towards Job Seeker.
    • Job Seekers only able to view the Company’s Name and Contact Number at the job description after they are HIRED.
    • Please check with employer and deal with them for the wages payment term. UPal does not keep or pay to jobseeker.
    • Your Account will be suspended for:
      • 1 week Suspension – First Time No Show for work
      • 1 month Suspension – Second Time No Show for work
      • Lifetime Suspension – Third Time No Show for work
    • Filter Function: You can search the job available based on your preference
    • Locate Job Nearby: Searching & Finding a job near your location is no longer a problem with UPal
    • 1-Click Apply: Applying Jobs are now way easier with just ONE CLICK.
    • Messages: An In-app functions that enabled you to communicate with your Employers easily.
    • Video Interview: You can now have a Face-to-Face Interview with employer wherever and whenever you are.
    • Procedure 1:
      • Job Seeker apply for job(s)
      • Job Applied Successfully
    • Procedure 2:
      • Employer will review your job application(s)
      • Employer contact jobseeker for interview
      • Employer will hire you if you are the right candidate.
    • Procedure 3:
      • Job Seeker will receive hiring notifications if you get hired.
    • Upload a presentable profile picture of yourself as well as your ID which is mandatory for work.
    • Boost your profile by indicating your job interests and experience. Employers will be able to view your profiles, so do whatever it takes to make your profile stand out from the other Upal applicants.
    • Make yourself available and apply to as many jobs to increase your chance of being noticed and hired.
    • For any cancellations, kindly cancel your job application in “My application” page or use Upal Message to contact Employer.
    • Any Last Minute Cancellations within 24 hours of the shift will result in a ban.
    • If employer already hired you, cancellation of the job will result in a ban too.
    • It is very important to notify us in advance if you cannot make it.
    • If you do not turn up to your shift i.e. No Show, you will also be automatically banned from Upal.
    • We do this to ensure trust with our businesses and because there was another Upaler willing to work with us.

Getting Started

For Employer
    • STEP 1
    • Click On COMPANY LOGIN / SIGNUP button
    • STEP 2
    • Click On I'm New Here for New Registration of an Employer Account OR
    • Log In by Facebook or Google+ if you do have an account OR
    • STEP 3
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under ”Employer Register” page
    • Click On ”Create Account” button while you have filled up all Fields
    • STEP 4
    • You’ll receive the Verification Code from us by SMS
    • Enter the Verification Code
    • Click On ”CONTINUE” button
    • STEP 5
    • You are now in the Upal Employer Dashboard

    • STEP 1
    • Kindly Log In to UPal Employer account, and Click On”About Me”from the Dashboard
    • STEP 2
    • Click On ”Edit”
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under ”Basic Information”
    • Select ”Update” when it is done
    • STEP 3
    • Click On ”Company Profile”
    • Fill up all the Mandatory Fields under:”Company Description”, ”Basic Information”, ”Contact Information”
    • Select ”Update” when it is done* Don’t forget about your Company Logo, too.
    • Employer is compulsory to upload it's ”Company SSM” to entitled a VERIFIED Account with Upal Platform

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UPal Employer Account, and Select the Post New Job button
    • STEP 2
    • Select the job category you wish to post.
    • For example: Select Barista from Food & Beverage Job Category
    • STEP 3
    • Kindly enter the Work Location and select the correspondent work location
    • System will fill up the addresses automatically but if it is not,
    • Employer should enter the address and other information manually
    • Scroll down will see the section of the Work Shift
    • STEP 4
    • Kindly Select the:Date & Start Time, End Time, Number of Headcounts hire, as well as Salary (per hour basis) of this job
    • Click on Add New Shift + button if you wish to add in more shifts
    • Scroll down will see the section of the Job Detail
    • STEP 5
    • In the Job Detail and Job Description are optional fields
    • Select the Post Now button to post the job
    • STEP 6
    • Last but not least, your job need to be approved by admin in order for jobseeker to apply.

    • STEP 1
    • Select the Job & Applications button
    • STEP 2
    • Select the job with Applicant(s)
    • For example: Select the Programmer job to proceed
    • STEP 3
    • This page will shows up all applicants and you can go through the applicant’s profile
    • Choose the applicant you want to process.
    • Click “View Full Profile” or click on applicant’s name to review the applicant’s resume
    • Click “Interview” to set an interview session with applicant.
    • Click “Chat” to direct message with applicant.
    • Click “Move to” to choose Hire or Reject applicant.

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UPal Employer Account, Go To “Job & Applications”
    • On the Right Top Corner of your job posting, Click On “JOB AD”
    • STEP 2
    • Select “Featured” and click “Confirm” button to purchase.
    • STEP 3
    • After payment is successfully, it shows that your Job Posting has been successfully FEATURED and it is now on the Top list for 10-days

    • STEP 1
    • Log In to UPal Employer Account, Go To “Job & Applications”
    • On the Right Top Corner of your job posting, Click On “JOB AD”
    • STEP 2
    • Select “Highlight” and click “Confirm” button to purchase.
    • STEP 3
    • After payment is successfully, It shows that your Job Posting has been successfully HIGHLIGHTED for 30-days

    • Real Time Matching: We have a pool of job seekers available 24/7. You’ll be instantly connected to the workers that match your criteria.
    • Messages: An In-app functions that enabled you to communicate with your Job Applicants easily.
    • Video Interview: You can now conduct a Face-to-Face Interview by our UPal Video Interview wherever and whenever you are.
    • Instant Broadcast: Broadcast your jobs instantly to nearby UPal Users.
    • PURCHASED CREDITS will be expired depends on which package had purchased.
    • FREE CREDITS will be EXPIRED when you are not utilizing it within 30-days from the date of your Employer Account Created.
    • All job posting will be expired after 30 days of validity.
    • STEP 1
    • Log In to Upal Employer Account, and click on the “My Wallet” Button
    • STEP 2
    • Employer is encouraged to Purchase the Hot Deal of 50 Talents Search
    • STEP 3
    • Kindly click on “Confirm” to proceed
    • STEP 4
    • Kindly choose a Payment Options
    • Kindly fill up all the mandatory fields
    • And Tick the Checkbox
    • Click on Pay Online to confirm the Order
    • STEP 5
    • This shows that you have successfully purchase the order
    • STEP 6
    • This is your Order History
    • STEP 7
    • Now go back to the Main Menu, and click on the “Search Talents” Button
    • STEP 8
    • Select your desire candidate from the pool of talents shown
    • For example: You have selected the candidate, click on “Unlock” Button
    • Select the Close button to close the order history
    • STEP 9
    • Click On “Confirm” to Unlock the selected Candidate’s resume
    • STEP 10
    • It shows that you have successfully Unlocked the selected Candidates
    • STEP 11
    • All Unlocked Candidate(s) will be stored under the “UNLOCKED” folder
    • Click on it…
    • STEP 12
    • This page is showing all of your unlocked candidates

    • STEP 1
    • lick On Company Login / Signup
    • lf you are Job Seeker kindly click on the Job Seeker Login / Signup
    • STEP 2
    • ClickOn Forgot Password
    • STEP 3
    • Kindly enter your Mobile Number / Email Address
    • Click On Reset Your Password
    • STEP 4
    • Password Reset is done
    • A Password Recovery Email has been sent to your email inbox
    • STEP 5
    • Open the Forgot Password Email from Upal and click on RESET PASSWORD
    • STEP 6
    • Kindly enter your New Password, and Confirm the New Password once again
    • Click on Submit To Reset Password
    • STEP 7
    • Your Password has been successfully reset.

    • Your Account will be suspended for:
      • 1 week Suspension – First Time No response / Cancel Job after job seekers apply your job(s)
      • 1 month Suspension – Second Time No response / Cancel Job after job seekers apply your job(s)
      • Lifetime Suspension – Third Time No response / Cancel Job after job seekers apply your job(s)
Troubleshoot
    • Be patient. Employer will get in touch with you in soon manner if you get HIRED successfully.
    • Every Job Seeker MUST complete his/her Profile for at least 80%
      • Log In to your Job Seeker Account
      • Under your Dashboard, there is a Percentage Bar showing your Profile Completion Status.
    • You will not be able to Apply Job(s) if your Job Seeker Account is suspended.
    • If you are still encountering the same issue while achieving all 3 scenarios above, please do contact us at: http://www.upal.com.my/contact
    • We would like to open an investigation for such a case
    • Kindly provide us the important notes and send to [email protected]
    • You will be contacted by our friendly Customer Representative while receiving your email enquiry.
    • This may be due to the weak reception from Telco in your current location.
    • Kindly click on the Resend Verification Code and our system will generate the latest Verification Code for you.
      • Any job advertisement posted on or via UPAL must comply to below guidelines:
      • Must be in the English language, with other languages optional;
      • Must not demonstrate preference towards a particular gender, age group, or race;
      • Must not advertise services including training,
      • If any job advertisement fails to comply with the guidelines, UPAL will remove the job advertisement immediately. No refund is given by UPAL in the event of non-compliance.
      • Job advertisements posted will remain published online for thirty (30) days, with the exception of the purchase of any promotion that extends the job advertisement expiry period.

    • Employer may upload their job post onto UPal platform, using our “Instant Broadcast” feature to hire part timers easily.

      • Click on Confirm to proceed the order
      • STEP 3
      • Kindly choose a Payment Options
      • Kindly fill up all the mandatory fields
      • And Tick the Checkbox
      • Click on Pay Online to confirm the Order
      • STEP 4
      • This shows that you have successfully purchase the order
      • STEP 5
      • This is your Order History
      • STEP 6
      • Now go back to the Main Menu, and click on the “Job & Applications” Button
      • Under your existing Job Posting, click on the “JOB AD” button
      • Select Broadcast
      • STEP 7
      • Click on “Confirm” to proceed with the Instant Broadcasting to 500 Job Seekers nearby
      • STEP 8
      • You have successfully broadcasted your job to job seekers nearby
