Job Responsibilities
·
Monitor the daily production.
·
Ensure production of good quality products.
·
Safely and appropriately use baking and
measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked products.
·
Follow and ensure compliance with food safety
handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
·
Check and ensure correct temperatures of
kitchen appliances and product.
·
Ensuring excellent quality of raw and the end
products in making sure to meet the standards
·
Delegating task for team member throughout the
day.
·
Supervising and coordinating the production
process.
·
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as
flour, sugar etc. to make sure all ingredients always be enough for production.
·
Assist R&D department create new recipes by
using different and special ingredients.
·
Ensure compliance with nutrition and sanitation
regulations and safety standards.
·
Maintain accurate record of baking operation to
ensure profitability
·
Train new recruits on baking techniques and
procedures
·
Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements
·
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in baking.
·
Possess related certificate OR Diploma OR Degree
in culinary arts.
·
Good knowledge of different types of pastry,
bread, dessert and decorating.
·
Ability and experience in managing, training and
leading a team of bakers.
·
Able to cope with fast-paced situations.
·
Ability to work with a variety of people and in
cooperation with co-workers efficiently and effectively.
