Job Responsibilities
· Ensure proper adherence to food preparation recipes to be in accordance to standards
· Supporting Section Chef on food preparation
· Strive to eliminate spoilage and wastage in the food preparation process
· Ensure food preparation are in accordance to HACCP standards
· Always adhere and enforce strict health & safety regulations and practices
· Ensure setting and cleaning up of food station is completed
· Provide direction to Commis on daily duties
· Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen is maintained at all times
· Checking and monitoring of kitchen equipment’s functionality
· Eliminate food contamination during preparation of food
· Ensures that outlet strictly comply with International Food Safety and Hygiene standards, as well as standards set by the Malaysian Food act and as per company policies
Have a complete understanding to the operational Do’s and Don’ts and Occupational Safety and Health standards
Requirements
• Two years working experience in the same capacity
• SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.
• Basic communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good time management skills
• Able to work on shift
